Born in Dallas (Dallas County) Texas to the parentage of Rev. Walter Johnson, Sr. and Dorothy Johnson. He is married to the former Carlette Robinson. They are the parents of four daughters: Rachel Elizabeth, Tabitha Elisheba, Christina Renee, and Anna Alecia Johnson.
